Irminix drug development is moving forward rapidly. While mercury detoxification is their main focus, they have recently seen great developments for other indications that Irminix has for improving health.
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) – Phase 2a studies started.
When sold as a dietary supplement (OSR1), a major positive effect was seen in patients with COPD. Therefore EmeraMed was applied and was approved for a study on patients with COPD.
COPD is a serious disease primarily caused by smoking. Current treatments are unsatisfactory, and the disease will soon be the third largest killer. Worldwide, there are 600 million people with COPD. Their aim is to help the majority of the world’s smoking population with positive benefits.
General Antidote for many Intoxication.
Irminix has several mechanisms of action making it relevant as an antidote against many intoxications, not just mercury. Key features of Irminix include: it is lipophilic/fat soluble, passes cell membranes and the blood brain barrier, does not show any side effects, and seems to work as a general antidote for a wide variety of intoxications.
Iriminix has been shown to bind lead as well as mercury. Hopefully in the near future, it will be used as a first line general antidote, immediately administered before the exact type of intoxication can be identified.
Following the successful Phase 2a study on mercury intoxicated gold miners in Ecuador, they will perform a non-clinical Phase 2 study on chronically mercury intoxicated rats this month. The European Medicines Agency (EMA) permits them to study in rats what cannot be studied in humans at a significant cost savings. Therefore, they will only do a small Pivotal Phase2/3 clinical study in 2017, after which they aim to apply for marketing authorization.
The final 100mg capsules will be ready for commercial production by December 2016. The first 50 kg batch of Irminix was already produced within specification.
We are hoping that this great product will be in the United States by 2017.
I will keep these announcements updated and tell you when it will finally be available here in Carlsbad.

Do you have any information where we can get Irminix in december in Europe??
Hi Tina,
Thanks for taking the time to reply and ask a question.
The “Early Access” program to applied for through the parent’s company website. http://www.emeramed.com
You would have to have your physician in Sweden fill out the application and monitor you. Their website’s email address is info@emeramed.com if you want direct information and instructions.

How effective would this be for a dental
Nurse from the 1980’s who handled mercury in her hands with no barrier for over 2 years? I’ve suffered with many chronic illnesses over the last 3 decades. Can it be accessed in Australia?
Dear Tracey,
Irminix will be the most effective chelator of heavy metals in the human body when it becomes available.
To answer how effective it will be in your case, you would have to be evaluated and diagnosed by a MD that specializes in chelation of heavy metals. The ACAM medical group has members that could do this. An alternative would be to contact a IAOMT dentist and ask who he/she refers to as an expert MD in heavy metal chelation. There are members of both groups in Australia that can be found on their respective websites.
For more information on when Irminix is available go to their website http://www.emeramed.com .

Can u please tell me how I can purchase emetine I live in Australia??
Hi Sharon,
At the present time you would need to get a M.D. to go to the http://www.emeramed.com website and fulfill the requirements for the Named Patient/Compassionate Use of the product to be able to get it for you. It is not available without a M.D. prescription.
Stay tuned to the my blogs or email newsletter for updates.

Hi, I have a supply of OSR from 2011 when it was discontinued. Do you suspect it is still viable. Was keep at room temp in the sealed boxes.
Hi RJ,
I would not recommend using expired OSR1.
You could ask the manufacturer directly at http://www.emeramed.com .

I saw a Facebook post today that Irminix is available in a range of countries from today. Do you have any more information?
Are there any case reports with respect to MS ALS etc?
Dear Anthony,
I am only a dentist. If anyone has an answer to this it would be the company that makes the product. I would ask the people at http://www.emeramed.com or your holistic M.D. The product will be a prescription drug and you would need a doctor to proscribe it for the condition.
Blessings on your search for healthy choices,
